Common Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about the Seven Lakes tour. If you have other questions, feel free to message us.

Do I need a visa for Tajikistan?

Citizens of many countries can enter Tajikistan visa-free for up to 30 days. For others, an e-visa (e-visa.tj) is easily available online. We recommend checking the latest requirements before your trip.

What is included in the tour price?

Our standard price includes pick-up and drop-off in Samarkand or Panjakent, 4x4 transport with fuel, a professional local guide, border assistance, and drinking water.

How do I pay for the tour?

We believe in trust. No prepayment or deposit is required. You can pay in cash (USD, EUR, or Tajik Somoni) directly to the guide at the start of your journey.

How long is the journey?

The drive from Samarkand to the border takes about an hour. If you are starting in Panjakent, we depart directly. The journey to the first lake takes about 1–1.5 hours. The entire route is scenic.

Is there a lot of walking or hiking involved?

It's primarily a 4x4 driving tour, so it's accessible for everyone. We can drive to almost all the lakes. If you enjoy hiking, we can arrange short treks between the lakes or a longer hike to the 7th lake.

Can we return on the same day?

Yes! Our one-day tour is specifically designed for this. We usually start at 8:00 AM and you'll be back at your hotel by 6:00-7:00 PM.
